Host : Can you briefly introduce yourself as well as Mars Ecosystem? and from where you get the project name? What does it mean to you? And why you choose this name for your project?
- Mr. Tarios : Hello, guys! I am Tarios. I’m the oversea community manager of Mars Ecosystem. I will be your guide and friend for the journey to Mars.
- Mars Ecosystem is now one of the hottest projects on BSC, and also one of the strongest participants of the MVB III Program! We are the star of September ⭐️!
- In September, Mars Ecosystem has just launched its own Farms/Pools and the TVL already reached 🔥$500M. at the same time maintaining APR up to 500%.
- $2.24 Million worth of $BTC, $BNB, $ETH, $CAKE were distributed to $XMS stakers during the last week. Total rewards distributed stands at $11.34 Million already.
- Our name is coming from the Mars because Human beings have looked up to the stars from the beginning of time. Today, exploring Mars is not only achievable – it’s something people are excitedly anticipating. Exploration of space has always been a central aspiration of humanity across the globe. Astrophysicist Guillem Anglada Escudé is leading a project to build and maintain a city on Mars. This project, called “Nuwa”, aims to create a viable, livable, and self-sufficient Martian city within a few decades. At this point, we can’t help but ask ourselves: If civilization is to be built on Mars in the coming decades, how can we build a new economy on Mars?
Host : Tell us, What is your mission and vision to build this project? What you want to achieve through your project in future?
- Mr. Tarios : Our goal is to be able to create the central bank of stablecoin in DeFi. As you know, current stablecoins have their own externality problems, Mars Ecosystem plans to solve them and issue a successful and decentralized stailcoin.
- We are preparing Genesis Launch to provide users with the highest return and create a stablecoin that they can use with maximum efficiency in the future, stay tuned!
Host : And What strengths does Mars Ecosystem have to compete with competitors?
- Mr. Tarios : First of all, I must state that the Mars Ecosystem does not actually have a direct competitor. Because the Mars Ecosystem is more like three parts rather than just one.
- These pieces are Mars DeFi, Mars Treasury, and Mars Stablecoin. By combining these 3 features under one roof, we both solve the problem of external dependency and enable users to do more than one job on a single platform.
- Mars DeFi is an AMM and allows users to trade. In addition, users can generate passive income through pools and farms with high APRs via Mars DeFi. Mars Stablecoin aka USDM is slated to be available to users in early November.
- The main purpose of USDM is that it is a stablecoin, but unlike other stablecoins, it is completely decentralized and will be powered by the Mars Treasury. Also, due to its Support Ratio relationship with our governement token, XMS, the usage amount of USDM will also strengthen XMS. In this way, the Mars Ecosystem will progress as a whole.

Yes, our farms and pools are truly amazing, to be honest! With the vesting mechanism, which is one of the innovations of Mars Ecosystem, users can both have high yields and the value of the XMS token is protected against a momentary decrease. Since the XMS rewards earned are subject to a 180-day linear vesting period, XMS users are more comfortable both financially and psychologically, and the value of XMS is constantly maintained. Also, as user satisfaction is top priority for Mars Ecosystem, Mars Ecosystem distributes 90% of their revenue to their users through XMS pools and farms, providing such great and high APR farms and pools.
Q2. Can you tell us how to mint your stablecoin, USDM? What will determine the supply of your stablecoin if it is not backed by the US dollar itself? Can you explain to us how does it works and operate within Mars Ecosystem?

Can please explain your roadmap in detail to better understand your project?
- First of all, I must state that the preparation stages of our Genesis Launch, which will make big noise in the DeFi world in November, continue at full speed. With the Genesis Launch, our users will be entitled to mint USDM tokens by committing BUSD tokens and staking XMS, and they will be the first holders of such USDM Token. I would like to remind you that during the Genesis event, there will be a pool where they can earn XMS by staking USDM with high APR.
- Afterwards, Starting from the launch of Farms/Pools, we will cooperate with BSC’s major DeFi protocol such as DEX, lending protocols, leveraged mining protocols, etc.
- Next, we will release more DeFi protocols through investment, incubation, and joint development to jointly empower Mars Ecosystem. In Q4 of 2021, we plan to release the yield aggregator module and develop our Launchpad platform at the same time.
- And finally, we aim to expand our user base and protocol accessibility by publishing our stablecoin protocol on more networks.
Q4. MarsEcosystem have two separate tokens on its platform which is the stable coin $USDM and the native token $XMS. Can you state the utilities and differences in function of these two tokens? How do they function in the economy of your platform?
USDM is our stablecoin. Our users will be able to keep USDM in their bags just like they are holding dollars. The difference of USDM token from other stablecoins is that it is decentralized and all its value support comes from the Mars Treasury, which can be observed transparently.
XMS is our governance token. With XMS, our users can earn returns with high APR through our farms and pools. They can also have a say in the progress of the protocol along with the XMS token in the future. Moreover, because of the support ratio relationship between XMS and USDM, as the amount of USDM usage increases, the market cap of XMS will increase continuously. Finally, we will carry out buybacks and burns to increase the value of the XMS token in the future, stay tuned!
Q5. There are four roles on Mars Ecosystem, Hitchhicker, Captain, Ranger and Dr. Marvin. Although you have introduced them, it is not clear how we can reach these levels. Can you please explain the prerequisites for each level? Do we need to keep the minimum amount of USDM or XMS?
- Our first role is Hitchhicker, being a Hitchhicker is simple and fun! You can directly consider yourself a Hitchhicker by joining any of our communities. All Hitchhickers help and support each other. Greetings to the Hitchhickers, the biggest supporters of the Mars Ecosystem!
- Our second role is Captain. I mentioned that the Mars Ecosystem cares a lot about the community. Q. I saw that there is an “Anti-Bank Run Mechanism” feature on Mars Ecosystem, can you tell us more about it? How does this mechanism work? What benefits will this mechanism bring to Mars Ecosystem and to the users of the platform? What makes it so unique?#MARSECOSYSTEMXMS
The Anti-Bank Run mechanism is an innovative feature developed by the Mars team. Thanks to the anti-symmetric Redeem&Minting Mechanism, users cannot continuously issue XMS or USDM tokens. The process works as follows, a user can use one of the assets on the Mars Treasury whitelist to mint USDM. For example, we want to mint 10 USDM with $10 BTC. As a result, BTC goes directly to Mars Treasury and the user receives 10 USDM tokens. If the user wants to redeem these 10 USDM, he will get a total of $10 XMS tokens for 10 USDM. In this way, USDM token minted with BTC is redeemed with XMS aka Anti-symmetric Redeem&Minting mechanism. Also, USDM and XMS will always be protected in value, as Mars Treasury will continually provide value support for XMS and USDM during a possible market downturn. Additionally, thanks to the Support Ratio, the market cap of XMS will always be higher than the market cap of USDM, so that there will always be enough XMS tokens to cover the USDM redeem, even in an extreme situation.
Q.Can you list 1-3 killer features of Your Project that makes it ahead of its competitors? What is the competitive advantage your platform has that you feel most confident about?

Vesting mechanism comes first among the features that will distinguish Mars Ecosystem from other protocols. Thanks to the vesting mechanism, our farms and pools can offer high APRs while keeping the price of our XMS token highly protected. Thus, both XMS holders are happy and farmers using our ecosystem.
Another feature is the Mars Treasury. Thanks to Mars Treasury, there will always be liquidity for our USDM stablecoin. Also, Mars Treasury will always be a value promoter for XMS and USDM, helping them maintain their value. Idle assets of Mars Treasury yield earning from the Mars Ecosystem DeFi protocols or other external DeFi protocols. Mars Ecosystem uses external DeFi protocols governance tokens in the Mars Treasury to participate in their governance to vote on proposals that are beneficial to the Mars Ecosystem. Some assets are used to fund the development of protocols Dapps that can promote the wide adoption and use of USDM.
Q . I saw there will be something called Mintage Control Mechanism on your platform. Can you give us more about this mechanism? How will it really work? What innovative aspects are in it if we compare it with other mechanisms in other platforms that are like Mars Ecosystem?#MARSECOSYSTEMXMS
The maximum circulating supply of USDM is determined & controlled by the market cap of XMS.
Every 3 minutes, the system calculates the average market cap of XMS over the prior 3 minutes and divides this average market cap by a parameter called the XMS Support Ratio. The support ratio is to be determined by the protocol governance. The number obtained is defines the maximum USDM Supply Cap. In the next 3 minutes, users can only mint USDM up to this USDM Supply Cap.
For example, assuming that the average market cap of XMS in the past 3 minutes is 250 million USD and the XMS Support Ratio is 250%, then the USDM Supply Cap is 100 million. In the next 3 minutes, users can only mint USDM up to 100 million. If the current USDM circulating supply is 50 million, users can only mint 50 million new USDM at most as this would lead to the circulating supply of USDM to reach the USDM Supply Cap of 100 million.
After 3 minutes, if the average market cap of XMS over the prior 3 minutes is 275 million USD, the USDM Supply Cap willl be 110 milion, and the maximum circulating supply of USDM increases.
The XMS Support Ratio will be set at 250% at launch, and this ratio will gradually increase in the future.
